• Increases oxygen in blood & maintains hemoglobin levels, reduces workload on heart, increases blood supply to brain and normalizes the PH level of body.
• It stimulates the pituitary and thyroid glands for regulation of hormonal secretion, activation of nervous system & helps in stabilization of the respiratory system. High metabolism rate results in increased energy which activates the dormant brain cells to support development of mental capacities such as Intelligence, Clarity of Thoughts, Memory, and Analytical Capability.
• The increased Oxygen content in the body helps in improving the efficiency of heart function.



Starting from crown chakra, bring your attention down to Root Chakra by completing a breathing cycle at each chakra one by one. Now start the Naadi Shodhan Pranayama at Root chakra.
• Inhale from left nostril with right nostril closed using thumb and ring finger.
• Now close the left nostril and Exhale from right nostril.
• Keep left nostril closed and inhale from right nostril
• Finally exhale from left left nostril keeping the right nostril closed.
This completes one cycle of naadi Shodhana Pranayama. Perform one cycle at each of the chakras one by one from Root all the way upto crown chakra.
